Yes, we intentionally designed our hands free leash to be a 2 part system that's functional and versatile. There are 2 ways you can easily use the leash as a regular leash depending on what you prefer:

1. Unclip and clip back onto the ring on the leash portion to form a handle.

2. Adjust the webbing of the hands free portion shorter to form a handle.

Of course, Ultrawoof is based in Seattle so waterproof is a must. All of our hands free leashes are made from fully waterproof webbing.

Yes, our Ultra hands free leash has a fixed traffic handle close to the dog. And if you wear the system in reverse, you can use the adjustable portion of the leash to create an adjustable traffic handle too!
