How do you put them on? How do they stay on?
These Ultrawoof boots have a flexible sole which helps dogs feel the ground beneath them, making it more natural to wear. They are also lightweight which helps keep the dog comfortable. The reflective velcro straps at the leg have stretch and can be tightened or loosened based on your dog's leg circumference.
To put on our dog boots, you can fold them in half to slip the boot on the dog's toes before flipping the boot up and pulling it into place. You can find a video walkthrough on how to put on our dog shoes here.
Is it OK for dogs to wear boots?
Yes! When necessary, putting dog boots on your dog will help keep their paws protected from hot pavement and burns in the summer, and frostbite and discomfort in the winter. Some pet parents use our dog shoes to avoid blisters, scrapes, and paw pad injuries from playing on gravel or pavement.
Dog shoes can also be used for injured dogs or older dogs who may have weaker hind legs and mobility loss from osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, degenerative myelopathy, SLO, or arthrosis. Our dog shoes can be used to keep dragging paws protected against abrasion!
How long do they last?
This will depend on the size of your dog, frequency of use, and the terrain the booties are used on. As our dog boots are made from soft and flexible materials to maximize your dog's comfort, there will be natural wear and tear with use. Our goal at Ultrawoof is to create dog goods that balance functionality and comfort with affordability to make them accessible for all dog parents.
Do you have smaller sizes?
